Jamie Garuti Sage is a creative professional with a background in communications design for social change. Her creative sweet spot is where progressive causes and strategic design meet. Jamie thrives on creating attention-grabbing content that conveys compelling, impactful messages. Her experience in advocacy work allows her to hit the ground running with clients focused on making the world a better place.

 

Jamie currently serves as the Multimedia Director at the historic Old South Church in Boston. In this role, Jamie has worked to visually craft and amplify Old South's justice-centered values through both the digital and physical, from remodeling the website to adorning the 1875 gothic building in progressive messaging. Previously, Jamie served as the Communications Manager at Boston-based nonprofits Climate XChange and Climate Action Business Association. She has also volunteered as a Graphic Design Lead for Sunrise Movement, the youth-led movement to fight climate change and create good jobs.

In her free time, Jamie likes to practice aerial acrobatics, make up funny songs and dances with her wife Shylana, and play with her dog and kitten.
